Mountain Vista Health Park is a multi-level care facility providing skilled,
intermediate and rest-home care, located on the edge of the beautiful Uwharrie
National Forest.
A large, spacious smoke free lounge provides a comfortable setting for residents to
socialize. It also serves as a visiting area for residents' visitors, as well
as the location for large group activities. Private family meeting rooms are available.
Residents may watch television, play the piano and listen to the stereo system.
Directly across the hall from the lounge is a large, attractive dining room
which can accomodate 200 people. All diets are therapeutically planned under
the direction of a food service supervisor or dietician, in order to serve
nutritious and appetizing meals.
Residents may go directly from the lounge onto the patio and garden area where
they can enjoy fresh air, colorful flowers and greenery, and socialize under
the gazebo. This is a beautiful area for visiting, entertaining and special
events. The gardens were established as a memorial to The Reverend Herbert
Baker who was instrumental in the founding of Mountain Vista Health Park. The facility has fifteen rooms with a view of the courtyard. The area is completely enclosed for security and privacy.

 Semi-private and private rooms are available with a half-bath in each room. All
rooms are equiped with a nurse-call system. Each resident has a comfortable,
adjustable bed, bedside stand and closet available for personal belongings.
Space is also available for a television and telephone which are optional.
Nursing care is provided 24 hours a day by registered nurses, licensed
practical nurses and certified nursing-assistants ---- a staff dedicated to the
tradition of excellent patient care. The facility offers a well staffed, progressive rehabilitation department for full recovery of acute disease
processes and maintainance programs of chronic diseases.
